Charlotte Prepare to Be Spellbound

Get ready Charlotte Echo readers. True magic is heading Uptown this holiday season. Starting November 19 The Magicians Table a celebrated West End immersive experience will make its North American debut right here in our Iron District. Expect mystery, whimsy, and storytelling that pulls you into the magician’s world. Tickets go on sale August 8 so mark your calendars.

What’s happening
London’s acclaimed West End immersive magic show The Magicians Table is making its North American debut at Blume Studios in Charlotte's Iron District. The show transports audiences into the fantastical world of fictional magician Dieter Roterberg, promising theatrical enchantment like nothing the city has seen before.

When and Where

  • Dates: November 19 through January 11

  • Venue: Blume Studios, Blumenthal Arts’ newest immersive performance space

  • Tickets: On sale starting August 8 via blumenthalarts.org, with prices starting at $79.99

Why it matters
This debut marks a big cultural win for Charlotte as Blume Studios continues its mission to bring boundary pushing art experiences to a broader and more adventurous audience. This comes after the success of events such as Space Explorers and Immersive Van Gogh which both drew large local crowds.

Adopt A Pet Of The Week

Birdie is a young female dog who is ready to find her fur-ever home! She is super playful and full of energy, so she is looking for a family who can keep up with her active lifestyle. Birdie is very curious about everything, and she is always game for a new adventure. She is sweet and affectionate and will make a great companion for her future family. She is young and thirsty to learn. Birdie was born from a stray momma and was born with foster. She is very people-friendly. Her loving nature and playful spirit will surely bring joy to her new owners. If you're looking for a fun, playful, and curious companion, Birdie is the perfect dog for you!

She is 4 1/2 months old, 23 lbs, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Birdie will be adopted out with a spay/neuter contract. Adoption fee will include a $100 deposit which will be refunded once the rescue receives proof of sterilization. Adoption will not be finalized until puppy is spayed.

Birdie is being fostered in Harlingen, TX. If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application via our website, anassafehavenrescue.org. Adoption fee covers transportation cost anywhere in the US.
