Top Chef Season 23 to Spotlight Charlotte's Culinary Scene

Bravo's acclaimed cooking competition brings national attention to the Queen City's vibrant food culture

Charlotte, North Carolina, is set to take center stage as Bravo's renowned culinary competition, "Top Chef," announces its 23rd season will be filmed in the Queen City.

 

Production is slated to commence this summer, with the season premiering in 2026.

 

In addition to Charlotte, several episodes will be filmed in Greenville, South Carolina, further highlighting the rich culinary traditions of the Carolinas.

Ryan Flynn, Senior Vice President of Current Production at NBC Universal Television and Streaming, expressed enthusiasm about the location choice, stating, "Charlotte and Greenville are perfect chefs’ playgrounds fueled by exceptional local ingredients, bold flavors, a strong agricultural foundation, stunning natural landscapes, and the warm, genuine hospitality the South is known for." Local chefs and restaurateurs are eagerly anticipating the spotlight on Charlotte's evolving food scene.

Notably, Charlotte chef Jamie Lynch competed in Season 14 of "Top Chef," which was filmed in Charleston, South Carolina.
