Palm Berries Brings Health-Conscious Delights to Charlotte's Metropolitan

Lauryn Taylor Introduces Acai Bowls and Smoothies to the Queen City

After an extensive search for the right entrepreneurial opportunity, Lauryn Taylor discovered Palm Berries, a North Carolina-based health-focused franchise.

Drawn by its family-oriented atmosphere and flexible approach, Taylor felt a strong connection to the brand.

Having attended school with members of the founding family, she reached out and is now set to open her first franchise location at 1111 Metropolitan Avenue, Suite 150.

This will be the eleventh location for Palm Berries, joining nine in North Carolina and one in Virginia.

The 1,390-square-foot space will feature a cozy and aesthetically pleasing design, including comfortable seating, natural elements like a mossy green ceiling, a fireplace, and a colorful hand-painted mural.

The menu will offer acai bowls and smoothies, with build-your-own-bowl options and frequent specials introducing fresh flavors.

Taylor is excited to contribute to Palm Berries' growth and appreciates the flexibility of franchising with a smaller business, allowing her to personalize the space and introduce new ideas.

She aims to maintain a family-run atmosphere, providing a small-business feel that is approachable to customers.

"I'm just really excited to have a community in general and have a place where I can bring different types of people in and have a safe space for everyone," Taylor said.

"Also, [I'm excited] about getting more people into a health-conscious lifestyle. It's something that changed my life, so being able to provide a place for people to eat healthy foods [is great]."

She is targeting an opening at the end of September or early October for the forthcoming location.

Eventually, she hopes to open three locations and is eyeing different territories for expansion, though further locations have not been selected at this time.
