Charlotte's largest law firm secures prime position in upcoming Queensbridge Collective development |
Moore & Van Allen PLLC, Charlotte's largest law firm, has signed a 15-year lease to become the anchor tenant in the second tower of the Queensbridge Collective, a transformative $700 million development bridging Uptown and South End.
The firm will occupy nine floors, totaling 206,000 square feet, atop the 35-story office tower at 1111 South Tryon Street. This move marks a significant shift from their long-standing residence at the Bank of America Corporate Center since 1993.
Designed by Goettsch Partners, the office tower will feature state-of-the-art amenities, including a top-floor event space with a ballroom, boardroom, and an indoor-outdoor lounge offering panoramic views of the Charlotte skyline.
Construction of the Queensbridge Collective is progressing steadily. The first tower, a 42-story residential building, topped out in February 2025 and is set to open by late summer. The entire development is anticipated to be completed by 2027.
Additional tenants include local favorite Night Swim Coffee, slated to open a ground-floor café in late 2025, and Denver-based steakhouse Guard and Grace, planning a 10,224-square-foot rooftop venue by mid-2026.
Moore & Van Allen's relocation underscores the firm's commitment to remaining at the heart of Charlotte's evolving business landscape, embracing the city's dynamic growth and the opportunities presented by the Queensbridge Collective. |
