Greg Olsen Launches Youth Inc. to Guide Charlotte Parents Through Youth Sports

Former Carolina Panthers star introduces platform to support families navigating the complexities of youth athletics

Greg Olsen, a beloved figure in Charlotte and former tight end for the Carolina Panthers, has embarked on a new mission to assist parents in managing the often intricate world of youth sports.

In August 2025, Olsen officially launched Youth Inc., a media platform dedicated to discussions on coaching culture, injury prevention, and the development of life skills in young athletes.

Despite his extensive professional experience, Olsen found the realm of youth sports unexpectedly challenging as a parent, prompting him to create this resource.

Olsen has partnered with industry veterans Tim Murphy and Ryan Baise to manage content and e-commerce, respectively.

Looking ahead, Youth Inc. plans to feature notable guests on its podcast, including NFL players Josh Allen and Bryce Young, Barstool's Dan “Big Cat” Katz, and University of North Carolina women's lacrosse coach Jenny Levy.

Beyond Youth Inc., Olsen's commitment to youth sports is evident in his local involvement.

In 2024, he joined fellow Panthers alumni Luke Kuechly and Jonathan Stewart in coaching the middle school football team at Charlotte Christian School, providing young athletes with unparalleled mentorship.

Olsen's dedication extends to health and safety initiatives.

Through the Greg Olsen Foundation, he has made significant contributions to the community, including a $2.5 million donation to Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital to advance pediatric heart care.

Additionally, in partnership with Atrium Health, the foundation donated 89 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to local schools, enhancing safety measures for student-athletes.

Through Youth Inc. and his ongoing community efforts, Greg Olsen continues to be a guiding force for Charlotte families navigating the evolving landscape of youth sports.
