City Barbeque Expands in Charlotte, Bringing Authentic Flavors to the Community |
Celebrating 25 Years of Smoked Perfection with New Locations and Community Engagement |
Barbecue enthusiasts in Charlotte have a new reason to rejoice as City Barbeque continues to expand its presence in the Queen City.
Since opening its first Charlotte location in 2017, the Ohio-based chain has been serving up a delectable array of smoked meats and classic sides, earning a loyal following among locals.
In 2024, City Barbeque celebrated its 25th anniversary with a series of special events and promotions.
On September 25, the restaurant hosted "Wayback Wednesday," offering throwback pricing on fan-favorite menu items, much to the delight of long-time patrons.
Additionally, the first 100 guests at each location received mystery scratch-off cards, with prizes ranging from free meals to exclusive merchandise.
Beyond serving mouthwatering barbecue, City Barbeque is deeply committed to community involvement.
In December 2024, the Charlotte locations organized a canned food drive, encouraging guests to bring in non-perishable items in exchange for meal discounts.
This initiative not only provided support to local food banks but also fostered a spirit of giving among customers.
Looking ahead, City Barbeque plans to continue its growth trajectory, with aims to reach 100 locations by the end of 2025.
For Charlotte residents, this means more opportunities to indulge in the restaurant's signature dishes, such as the award-winning beef brisket, pulled pork, and St. Louis–cut ribs, all smoked on-site daily.
As City Barbeque continues to expand and engage with the Charlotte community, it remains a go-to destination for those seeking authentic, slow-smoked barbecue in a welcoming atmosphere. |
